Thermal Economics experienced technical staff can help to create cost comparisons, highlighting where our insulations can provide savings, while maintaining the performance levels that are required.
Daylighting calculations
Designing naturally, well-lit homes is important for the health and well-being of its occupants. Thermal Economics can provide daylighting calculations, design advise and reports for planning submissions.
U-values & Interstitial Condensation calculations
Thermal Economics provide a free U-value calculation and interstitial condensation calculation service for constructions using our products.
Thermal Bridging assessments
Thermal Economics can assess thermal bridges and calculate their linear thermal transmittance (also known as the PSi value or Ψ value) and temperature factor to evaluate the risk of surface condensation and mould growth.
SAP calculations
‘SAP’ (Standard Assessment Procedure) is the UK government’s method of assessing the energy performance of a dwelling. Thermal Economics can provide SAP calculations for new build dwellings.
Code for Sustainable Homes assessments
Thermal Economics qualified assessors can advise on the most appropriate thermal and acoustic insulations to use and how they help to provide credits in CSH assessments.
Home Quality Mark assessments

Onsite Training
Thermal Economics provide Tool Box Talk and Robust Details Site Training services for installers that are new to our products or those that are unsure or not confident when installing their products.
Energy Performance Certificates
If Thermal Economics have provided the SAP assessments for a project they can also provide Energy Performance Certificates (or EPC’s) and the SAP worksheets that are required for Building Control sign off.
