About System
The ZebraFloor Eco system provides our most cost effective way to achieve low U-values in beam and block floor constructions. This is achieved by replacing the concrete blocks with ZebraFloor Eco Infill Planks to provide insulation and form work. This is then covered by a high performance ZebraFloor Topsheet followed by a structural concrete topping.
ZebraFloor Eco Infill Planks
The ZebraFloor Eco system has been designed to be as efficient to install as possible. Each plank is 1200mm long, the equivalent of more than five standard concrete blocks, making installation very quick and simple. The planks are 440mm wide, this means that there is no need to change any existing beam designs and their square edges make them suitable for use with all major beam suppliers.
ZebraFloor Topsheet
This high performance EPS insulation has excellent thermal and compressive strength performance. It is available in a range of thicknesses, allowing low U-values to be achieved while maintaining a thin overall floor construction.
ZebraFloor Topsheet is also available in two compressive strength variants, Topsheet 120 and Topsheet 200. ZebraFloor Topsheet 120 designed for normal domestic loads, while ZebraFloor Topsheet 200 is projects where higher than normal loading is expected. A structural engineer should always be consulted when specifying this type of product.
ZebraFloor boards are UKCA marked and tested to BS EN 15037-4.
Environmental
The EPS used in these products is recyclable and has a BRE Green Guide A+ environmental rating. No blowing agents are used in the production of ZebraFloor products and they have an Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) of zero and a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of less than 5.
