It’s important for us to be part of the Reflective Insulation Manufacturers Association International. Both the reflective insulation and radiant barrier industries continue to grow at a phenomenal rate. Being involved with RIMA-I ensures we are keeping up to date with industry issues, worldwide.
RIMA-I represents reflective insulation, radiant barrier and interior radiation control coating (IRCC) manufacturers and other companies that are active within the industry. It is a recognised body in establishing fair ASTM standards for testing and installation procedures. RIMA-I works with many government, state and regional organisations to educate on behalf of the industry. As thermal insulation manufacturers, the thermal regulation discussions with the relevant authorities over the years have been paramount; with many of its technically internationally renowned members to enforce RIMA-I’s arguments.
At Thermal Economics, we remember when RIMA-I had its first international conference in Paris in 2007 and it was a fantastic start to their regular events that have continued on since. More recently, we were proud sponsors of the RIMA 2018 Conference in Costs Rica. Being part of a well-established association that always delivers informative events provides us with regular opportunity to catch up with our international contacts.
Hugo Brown, Joint Managing Director at Thermal Economics concludes, “We would like to congratulate RIMA-I for 40 years of international success. We look forward to continuing being part of this internationally recognised association which has always been fantastic at supporting our own drive in research and development to ensure we achieve best thermal insulation solutions for our customer base.”
